The main tasks and functions of the Akmola regional representative office:

• ensuring of the protection and representation of the interests of the Food Contract Corporation during the purchase, accounting, sale and storage of grain and its processing products, as well as when issue of loans to agricultural producers and implementation of investment projects in the agricultural sector in the manner prescribed by law;
• control over ensuring the quantitative and qualitative preservation of grain purchased by the Food Contract Corporation in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
• protection of the interests of the Food Contract Corporation in court, law enforcement and other state bodies on the basis of the appropriate power of attorney of the Food Contract Corporation.
